Aimee Sanford, ’16 graduated this past May with Distinction in the Field of Chemistry and immediately headed south to Atlanta, Georgia for an internship in the ORISE program at the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC). We were very excited for this opportunity for Aimee, but are even more excited that after only one month at the internship Aimee was offered a full time position. Aimee certainly made her one month in the lab a success to be offered a job so quickly. Aimee plans to work at the CDC as she prepares applications to graduate schools in the area.
