On Monday, March 18th at 4:30pm in the Library Lecture Hall, there will be a featured speaker, Professor Martin Karplus. Dr. Karplus was awarded the Noble Prize in Chemistry in 2013. He will be giving a lecture on Motion: The Hallmark of Life. From Marsupials to Molecules. The lecture will present an intellectual path from the role of motion in animals, to the molecules that make the motion possible. This lecture is part of the Forum for Emmanuel’s Natural Sciences (FENS) series and is hosted by the Chemistry Club. Faculty from the department will be present and students will be able to ask questions and have discussions with Dr. Karplus.
